Wanta.dev costs £3,795/month. Before subscribing, you start with a £45 software assessment, which is credited in full towards your first monthly payment if we continue working together. What kind of work can I give Wanta.dev?

Features, integrations, internal tools, bug fixes and improvements. We can also take ownership of software nobody currently maintains.

What counts as one priority?

Accepted Answer

One agreed piece of work, taken through to delivery. Your backlog can be any length and you can reorder it whenever you like.

Will you work within our project management or ticketing system?

Accepted Answer

No. Every customer gets a dedicated backlog on the Wanta.dev board, where you can add requests, provide context and set priorities. If the same work also needs tracking in Jira, Linear or another internal system, your team can link it to the corresponding Wanta.dev ticket. We do not maintain both boards or work within your internal project-management workflow.

This separation is deliberate. Wanta.dev is a managed delivery service, not an embedded developer or staff-augmentation hire, so we do not join daily stand-ups, sprint ceremonies or routine project-management meetings. We deliver in your existing codebase, with priorities managed through your dedicated Wanta.dev backlog. We will coordinate where access, dependencies or release timing require it.

How many hours are included each month?

There is no fixed allocation of hours. Wanta.dev is a managed delivery subscription built around one active priority at a time. The focus is on taking agreed work through to delivery, rather than tracking time or filling a set number of hours.

How long does work take?

Smaller items usually reach review within a few working days. Larger work ships as milestones.

Can you work alongside our existing developers?

Yes. We deliver in your existing codebase, with priorities managed through your dedicated Wanta.dev backlog. We coordinate with your developers where technical dependencies or releases require it.

Can you take on an app built with AI tools?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We review architecture, security, data and deployment, stabilise what needs it, then keep building.

Who owns the code and completed work?

Accepted Answer

You do. Work is delivered into your codebase, and bespoke deliverables become your property once the related fees have been paid. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their existing licences. Full details are available in our Terms of Service.
